Wood Wicks – Extra Large

Wood wicks are an awesome upgrade from standard cotton wicks. They deliver a clean burn, incredible fragrance throw, and that signature crackling sound that takes your candles to the next level. Made from quality Maple wood, our wicks come in a few core sizes, which means dialing in the right wick size takes some quick experimenting.

If your candle is over-wicked, simply shave a thin strip down the edge of the wood to dial down the flame. If it’s under-wicked, try doubling up the wicks in the configurations below. If the wick keeps extinguishing, your fragrance load might be too heavy. Try lowering your fragrance percentage or modifying your wax – adding a little beeswax builds viscosity, which improves capillary action and fuels a stronger burn.

Always trim your wick down to ¼ inch before lighting. Leaving it too long can cause it to drown out or burn unevenly.
